Remo Youth Association Affiliates With US-Based NGO

An American-based Non-Governmental Organization, known as Community Interest Africa Inc, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, has approved Remo Youth Association's request for affiliation.

The Chairman of Remo Youth Association, Comrade Yaya Onagbesan, noted that RYA had earlier written to the US-Based NGO for affiliation on June 16, 2022, and two months later, the approval was granted.

In a letter of approval of affiliation signed by the President/CEO of the NGO, Otunba Kayode Onafadeji, fnipr, on Monday in USA, reads in part; 

"... After careful review of a number of similar requests received from some Organizations and Associations in Africa, I am delighted to inform you that our Board has approved your request for affiliation. Congratulations!" 

"C-InterestAfrica, a youth-centric international NGO, has the mandate to promote sustainable human development in Africa. Our Board has observed that your Association has mission and vision statements that are in consonance with what we stand for. This, in our view, will make your affiliation with us work smoothly, especially in the areas of training, advocacy and international conferences."

While reacting to the approval of affiliation with the US-Based NGO, the Chairman of Remo Youth Association, Comrade Yaya Onagbesan, said, "I am not of the school of thought that believe 'Money is the primary resources' to get things done.

"I cherish relationship and understand what it means to place oneself in a rightful position towards opportunities.

"Before my emergence as the Chairman of the Association, it was a priority to place Remo Youth on the global space. So, this is not coming as a surprise.

"I believe Remo Youth Association must at all time benefit in any form of opportunities around us. So when I met the President of Community Interest Africa and we discussed at length, I tried all we could do to bring RYA on board and I am so happy that our association was approved as an affiliate member of the NGO.

"Together we can all make a difference", he concluded.
