Iperu Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board Hosts 3rd Edition of Education Sensitization Talk on Feb 21, as Alaperu Mobilizes Support for Board Activities
The Iperu Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board, will on Wednesday, 21st February 2024, hold its 3rd sensitization talk on education at the Akesan Iperu Club 1954 Hall, Iperu.

The talk, which starts at 11am, has as its theme: "Education is a Key to Peace", and is organized by the board to reawaken the minds of all stakeholders in Iperu, on the challenges confronting education in the town, and working towards using education as a tool to combat poverty among its citizenry.

Keynote Speaker is Rt, Rev. J.O. Gboyega OHU, the Bishop, Lagos North Diocese, and former Bishop, Remo Central Diocese, Methodist Church Nigeria; while Guest Speaker is Dr. (Mrs.) Ayodele Olubunmi WOMILOJU, former President, All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS), Ogun State Branch.

Royal Father of the Day is the Ebi of Idena, His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa, Oba Lukman Oluwadamilare Adebambo SALAMI (Sebu II); and the Lead Royal Father of the Day is the Alaperu of Iperu, His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa, Oba Adeleke Adelekan IDOWU-BASIBO (Odoru V), FIEX, FICMC.
The Executive Chairman, Ikenne Local Government, Hon. Olusegun OGUNLEYE, will grace the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour.

The Chairman, Iperu Development Association, Chief Babajide OYETI, will also be in attendance, while Mofopefoluwa JOSEPH, FRM, Chairman, Iperu Remo Education Trust Scheme Management Board  will serve as the Chief Host.

Meanwhile, the Alaperu of Iperu, in his effort at mobilizing the needed support for the board for a successful delivery of its assigned tasks, has called on Iperu sons and daughters, as well as friends and associates of the town, both at home, and in the diaspora, to donate generously to the education body.

In a letter personally signed by the monarch, he solicited for the assistance, support, and cooperation for the board.

"I hereby solicit for the assistance, support, and cooperation of  'whomsoever it may concern' for this board. I boldly claim to be aware of the board's outreach and donations , both in cash and kind, for the execution of its programmes and activities.

Kindly be rest assured that all assistance and donations will be adequately accounted for", said the Alaperu.

The Royal Father described members of the board as tested and experienced people from both the private and public sectors, who adopt corporate governance as their watchword.

"The Royal Palace thanks you in anticipation of your assistance, support, and cooperation in whatever measure you may deem it fit, to make our dream of a better future come through", the monarch concluded.

The board was inaugurated by the Alaperu and the Alaperu-in-Council on the 24th November, 2023, for the purpose of assisting the town and its residents in the development of the very important education sector, in collaboration with all existing governmental agencies.
