The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), Nigeria's leading petroleum company, has issued a statement regarding the recent tightness in fuel supply experienced in certain regions of the country.
According to Mr. Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., the supply constraints were primarily due to logistical challenges, which have since been successfully resolved.
In light of the situation, NNPC Ltd. reassures the public that there will be no changes in the prices of petroleum products. Moreover, the company emphasizes that there is an ample supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) across the nation.
"We urge Nigerians to refrain from panic buying, as there is an abundance of fuel products available in the country," stated Mr. Soneye.
NNPC Ltd. remains committed to ensuring stability in the nation's fuel supply and appreciates the cooperation and understanding of all stakeholders during this period.
