The Olowo Oloye Foundation, led by its Chairman and Founder, Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein, FCCA, FCA, FIASP (the first female Accountant-General of the Federation), has sent a message of felicitation to the people of Iperu Remo on the 2025 Akesan Day Celebration.
In its message, signed by the Chairman, Dr. (Mrs.) Madein, the Foundation heartily congratulates the Iperu Regency Council, the Royal Fathers, the Iperu Akesan Development Association, the 2025 Akesan Day Planning Committee, and the entire indigenes of Iperu Akesanland—both at home and in the diaspora—on the historic occasion of the 39th Akesan Day Celebration. It also rejoices with the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, an illustrious son of Iperu Akesanland, on the communal celebration.
In the spirit of the 2025 theme, *“Building a Stronger and United Iperu Akesanland,”* the Olowo Oloye Foundation is proud to announce its sponsorship of a comprehensive Free Health Programme as part of the week-long celebration.
This impactful initiative is a tripartite collaboration between the Olowo Oloye Foundation for Empowerment & Education, the Iperu Remo Health Scheme Management Board, and the 2025 Akesan Day Planning Committee.
The free medical outreach, which will hold at the Alaperu Palace tomorrow, Wednesday, 26th November 2025, commencing at 10 a.m., will provide essential health screenings, consultations, medications, and health education to hundreds of residents of Iperu and its environs, reinforcing the Foundation’s strong commitment to the well-being and development of Iperu Akesanland.
Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein expressed her joy at the milestone celebration, stating:
> “As a proud daughter of this great land, I felicitate the Regency Council, the Royal Fathers, community leaders, our amiable Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, and the entire Iperu community on this auspicious 39th Akesan Day Celebration.
>
> The Free Health Programme is our modest contribution towards building a healthier, stronger, and more united Iperu Akesanland. We remain dedicated to the progress and empowerment of our people.”
Similarly, as part of its *Giving Back to the Society* programme, the Foundation will on Friday, 28th November 2025, formally hand over a newly built and equipped Information Technology Centre to the Iperu community.
The Foundation wishes the good people of Iperu Akesanland a memorable, peaceful, and joyous 39th Akesan Day Celebration.
The Olowo Oloye Empowerment and Education Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein in memory of her late father, Alhaji Surakat Oyebanjo Sanni (Olowo Oloye), former Seriki Adeen of Iperu, has, since its inception over three years ago, remained committed to creating a world where communities are empowered to thrive and reach their full potential.
It has focused on empowering communities through various initiatives, including scholarships and school supplies for children in underserved areas; literacy programmes and educational workshops; skill acquisition programmes and micro-financing for individuals; support to entrepreneurs through capacity building and seed funding; gender equality and children’s rights advocacy; and community development projects such as the provision of clean water and improved healthcare access. The Foundation is also building partnerships with government agencies and international bodies through its goodwill and impact-driven programmes.
