In his keynote address, the State Chairman of PCRC, Ven. Dr. Samson Kunle Popoola, elaborated on the vital role of PCRC in enhancing community-police relations across Nigeria. He urged traditional leaders, including those in attendance, to collaborate closely with law enforcement agencies to effectively combat crime by sharing pertinent information and insights.

The gathering also included PCRC state executives, representatives from various youth wings, police officers, traditional leaders, and media personnel, showcasing a united front against crime.
In a significant development, Ven. Dr. Popoola agreed to Chief Atanda’s request for the establishment of a dedicated unit within the PCRC Youth Wing. This unit will focus on collaborating with law enforcement to address crime-related issues more effectively, further integrating traditional authority into community policing efforts.
